After throwing together our rag-tag group of artists, this job with Shield has been the first job (that we can talk about) we’ve worked on as a team.


We decided early on that this was going to be a great opportunity to really push our workflow and technical skills as far as we could. How efficient can we make this project, while not compromising on the art?


The answer was… pretty damn efficient.


We managed to make 60+ characters with unique animations, with a scattering tool to distribute the characters – which we might have overused. The final shot had more polygons in it than there are people on earth 🌎


This was a great project to work on as it pushed the whole team to improve, and we think the end result looks fantastic.


Made in collaboration with Laserbee, who provided us with art direction and animatics during production – as well as some very wholesome video calls.
